I started blogging about 6 months ago and have really caught the bug. Of my 4 blogs, this one is my favorite because the subject of heart ache, loss, and grief has touched and changed my life. Over the past few years I’ve come to view Grief as the unwelcome friend whose mission is to ultimately set me free, not break my heart.
Along with blogging and parenting my beloved cats, I’m a professional musician… flutist, singer, songwriter, arranger. I play gigs locally, give small concerts of my own original music (http://www.lindametz.com), sing in a 65 voice womens chorus, and play with a Celtic group called “Lorica” which is made famous by its founder/leader Bill Leslie of local WRAL TV news anchor fame.
If you’re still reading and want to know even more about me, I’m also a fanatical nature lover. Sky, clouds, rain, lightning, trees, flowers, bugs, lakes, mountains, sunrises, sunsets… I’m hooked on all of it, can’t get enough of it, and have experienced much healing through nature’s be
auty.
Finally and most importantly, at least to me, I’m a worshiper of God. I can’t imagine life without the Almighty’s presence with me everyday. I’d be completely sunk without you Lord.
